PHNOM PENH, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia and Rwanda have signed two deals on the establishment of bilateral consultations and visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official or service passports, said a press release from Cambodia's foreign ministry on Wednesday.
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn inked the deals with Rwandan Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe on Tuesday during Sokhonn's official visit to Rwanda, the press release said.
The documents "will pave the way for further strengthening the existing cooperation and exploring other potential areas for mutual benefit of Cambodia and Rwanda," it added.
Both sides pledged to boost cooperation in the field of financial and air services, saying that this cooperation would serve as a vital instrument to enhance connectivity, facilitate exchanges, and strengthen economic and people-to-people ties, it added. Enditem
