Visiting:Kunming/Dali/Lijiang

Brief Introduction:

Yunnan not only enjoys the most diversity in geography in China, but also has the most colorful minorities in China. Due to its various geological and geographical characteristics, Yunnan has nearly all the climate types and landscape features prevailing in the other provinces and regions of China. Take a deep breath and touch this dreamland. There is a Chinese old saying: " It is better to see once than hear a hundred times ". One of the favorite songs of hospitable and simple Yunnan people is " Guests from afar, please stay! " So ride on your bike to enjoy it thoroughly!

Day 1 Your sweet home to Kunming

Upon arrival in Kunming, you will be met by your local guide and escorted to the hotel.

Day 2 Kunming to Binchuan

After breakfast, take a bus ride from Kunming to Binchuan for about 6 hours, and stay overnight there.

Day 3 Binchuan to Haidong

Cycling 57km from Binchuan County to Haidong County.

Day 4 Haidong to Dali

Cycling 80km from Haidong County through northern part of Erhai to the exotic town of Dali referred to as “a place of rich literature".

Day 5 Dali

A rest day -- Free at your own leisure in Dali.

Day 6 Dali to Eryuan

Cycling 61km from Dali to Eryuan Village.

Part of the road is the old one with asphalt, today, there is a 3-km-long uphill, which is quite difficult. But overall, today's ride is quite easy. You can enjoy the hot spring in the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 7 Eryuan to Jianchuan

Cycling 66km from Eryuan Village to Jianchuan Village.

Day 8 Jianchuan to Lijiang

Cycling 78km from Jianchuan to Lijiang which is an UN World Heritage Site.

Day 9 Lijiang

Rest day - free day in Lijiang.

Day 10 Lijiang to Qiaotou

Cycling 83km from Lijiang to Qiaotou Town.

Day 11 Qiaotou to Tiger Leaping Gorge to Hetaoyan

Cycling 23km from Qiaotou to Tiger Leaping Gorge and then to Hetaoyuan (Walnut Grove).

Riding along the river between two Mountains: Jade Dragon Mountain and Mt.Haba after visiting the Tiger Leaping Gorge, continue to Hetaoyuan by bike.

Day 12 Hetaoyuan to Qiaotou to Lijiang

Cycling from Hetaoyuan (Walnut Grove) to Qiaotou, then taking the coach back to Lijiang (about 3 hours) and relax at the Old Town of Lijiang.

Day 13 Lijiang to Kunming

Rest day - free day in Lijiang until the late flight to Kunming.

Day 14 Kunming to Your sweet home

After breakfast, visit Stone Forest. Catch the international flight back to your sweet home.
