BEIJING, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Ambassador of Israel to China Eliav Belotsercovsky in Beijing on Thursday.

Fu briefed Belotsercovsky on the fourth plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, which outlined the blueprint for China's development over the next five years.

Noting the important role of news media in cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and Israel, Fu said Xinhua stands ready to work with the Israeli side to jointly promote media exchanges and cooperation.

Belotsercovsky said the achievements China has made in economic and social development are impressive. He also expressed the readiness to work with Xinhua to further promote exchanges. Enditem
